About the Store
What is the Ampersand Emporium?
Ampersand Emporium, a.k.a shopccad.org, is the online version of Columbus College of Art & Design’s on-campus store. (You can visit the real Ampersand Emporium. More deets here.) We like wacky things, absurd things, things that make you take a second look … but above all, we like well-designed things.

Monday through Friday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Family weekend, Saturday October 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Art Fair, Saturday December 1st from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
How can I contact you?
Can I place an order over the phone?
Yes. You can contact us at 614.453.2242. See our hours above for when we will be available for phone orders.
How do I know if you received my online order?
After completing payment, you will receive an email with confirmation and order summary information. If you do not receive an email, check your spam folder, and if it’s not there, contact us at email@example.com or at 614.453.2242 to make sure your order was received. If there is a problem processing your order once we receive it, an Ampersand Emporium representative will be in contact with you.
How can I check the status of my order?
Please call or email us for tracking information.
What if I need to make changes to an order I recently placed?
Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to make changes. Make sure the email includes your name and order number. You can also call us at 614.453.2242.
What if an item is out of stock? How can I find out if or when the item will be back in stock?
We do our best to keep our online inventory current, but sometimes an item may no longer available. Feel free to contact us with any questions about products that may be out of stock online.
What if I am having trouble ordering from your site?

What if I don’t like something and want to return it?
All items may be returned within 30 days for a refund of the purchase price. Shipping charges are not refunded. Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or call 614.453.2242 with questions about the items available online.
I received my order and it is incorrect. Can I get a refund or replacement?
Despite our best efforts to carefully package each shipment, an incorrect item occasionally will be shipped. Please let us know by email at email@example.com or by phone at 614.453.2242.
Shipping & Returns
How long does it take to receive my order?
Ampersand Emporium ships most packages through UPS; typically you can expect your package to arrive within 6-10 business days depending on your location. Processing time is 48 hours and the shipping department is closed on the weekends. Orders received after 12 p.m. EST will be processed the next business day. Expedited shipping is available. Call us at 614.453.2242 and we’ll get your package to you as soon as possible. International shipping is available; email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 614.453.2242 for a quote. International shipping cannot be expedited and can take up to two weeks.
How much are shipping rates?
Shipping rates are based on a flat fee.
What shipping carrier do you use?
Ampersand Emporium ships through UPS.
Can I enter different billing and shipping addresses?
Yes. There are separate fields for the billing address and shipping address. If the purchase is being shipped as a gift, please let us know in the Order Notes section.
What if my item is damaged in transit?
Ampersand Emporium carefully packages all orders, and they are insured for their full value. We will refund your purchase price or send a replacement on a case to case basis.
What payment options are available?
Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted online.
Will I be charged sales tax?
Only if you live in the state of Ohio. If you were charged sales tax and do not live in Ohio, please contact us.
Does the price displayed include tax?
No. The retail price online or in the shops does not include tax or shipping charges.
Are the prices online the same as in the Ampersand shop?
How secure is the ordering process?
We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you provide to us for purchasing of our products or services. We reveal only the last five digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.
Yes. They enable our systems to recognize your browser and to provide features such as storage of items in your Shopping Cart between visits.
Will my personal data be passed on to third parties?
Your personal data and payment information will be treated as strictly confidential and will not be shared with anyone else.

I'm a CCAD student/faculty/staff, how can I get my work featured in the store?
Currently we don't accept student, faculty or staff work.
